Cecélie (Kathy Hendrickson) and June (Liz Thompson) are the mothers of Cadie and Magda. They met in Nebraska while the girls were still children, before falling in love and moving to Brooklyn. Lou is an old friend of Cecélie’s, and has stood by this family throughout the years.
